I am glad I have a big counter :)

My first double decker cookies.. glueing a small cookie onto a larger one with royal icing.

The college boy and 2 of my nieces ( at college) will be getting some of these today.. Hope they all arrive unbroken !
Our back patio on Sunday.. most of the leaves are now off the trees, its been very windy here .. Thanks very much for your visits to my blog and your nice comments ! Have a great weekend !

Priscilla, those cookies are adorable! Did you know, that when I began to blog, about 4 or 5 years ago, that I was mainly doing it to advertise my cakes and cookies. I had a small home cake decorating business. I wasn't fabulous, but I kept pretty busy with it. I had a not so friendly competitor though, who made it miserable for me. AND, two new grandbabies, that were keeping me busy. I stopped doing it. I sometimes miss the cookies. I loved to decorate them. SO time consuming, but fun. Yours are fabulous. You have a knack for it. Have you ever done it seriously?
I know the mess involved too!! I think I prefer selling my handmade items. Not messy!!!
Hugs,
Kris
