May Stitchy Chalkboard

 Happy May !
For once I have my stitchy chalkboard done at the beginning of the month ! Month 5 is done !

This is from Hands On Design ..A Year In Chalk .. and if you read my blog you know that i am OBSESSED with chalkboards :)

These are so fun to stitch and so quick ! I am stitching mine with the recommended threads but using 28 count black Monaco.. the frame is from Michael's and I use a magnet on the frame and a piece of  sheet metal on the back of the stitching to change them out every month .
I added a vintage galvanized watering can filled with dried hydrangeas from last years garden ..

A little bowl from my grandmothers china with some daisies and a little bird sit on top of the stack of coverless books on a cake plate.
The vintage scale ( It's my favorite of my scales..it is so rusty :) with a small bowl with a bird nest and a little concreteish bird from Hobby Lobby

Just in case you didn't see my May seasonal chalkboard you can click here
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! I will be in the yard playing with 5 yards of dirt ..uggh..
If you would like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)

Hi there! Another winner! I finally went to Michaels to find one of those frames but, alas, they did not have them... I DID find the green clipboard one tho! Thanks for the inspirational posts!
