Winter in the Hutch

Happy Sunday!~ 

The hutch in the family room is all wintered up! This hutch was a Craig's List find that I painted and distressed..

and it needs to be since we got about a foot of snow last night and today ..

and yes that snow blower got a good workout!

Lots of winter stitched pieces in the hutch ..

including  our Winter Berries from The Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine 

a vintage truck with a wooden winter house .. deer and bottlebrush tree

lots of winter greenery .. a wood pine tree.. white lights are strung through all the shelves 

the sign is from Target Dollar spot last year 

Next to the hutch the window with Frosty Forest and on the other side the Seasosn in Chalk .Winter 

I love the hutch all decorated for Winter but I also can't wait to fill it with Spring!

Happy Birthday .. What's In My Cup!

This is Happy Birthday! The first of the Celebration Cups that we will sprinkle through the year!

Chelsea stitched Happy Birthday on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks.. I finished the piece on a little pedestal stand from Pioneer Woman at Walmart ( purchased last summer)  I used Chelsea's Checks .. Lori Holt vintage trim and a little cupcake button from Hobby Lobby ( at Christmas)

This is my snowman tree. a flocked 7 foot tree in my family room .. I leave the white snowball garlands on and added rose garlands .. black buffalo plaid ribbons .. red buffalo check ribbons .. bouquets of roses from the Dollar tree and chalkboards Love signs 

the topper is also from Dollar tree last year ..

I love the addition of a Valentine Tree in my decor!

 I can't wait to show you the Valentine mantel!

A Snowy Banner

Happy Monday friends! The vintage window got a new stitched banner!

I used our Snowed In With The Housewives ornaments to make this banner !  I just added longer ribbons to the backs of the ornaments and used a wired garland from Michael's Christmas section ..

It hangs over the vintage buffet that is all dressed up for Winter!

The tiered tray hods more Winter items including Sweater Weather

Valentine Tiered Tray

Happy Sunday friends!

For the first time I decorated my tiered tray for Valentine's Day! I usually do a Winter tiered tray .. which I did this year as well

but decided with the kitchen hutch being all red and white  that I needed a Valentine tray.

So I took all the Winter decor out 

and Valentined it up!

felt roses and mini rolling pin from Hobby Lobby 

I used one of our cup design " Love Lives Here " to add to this pedestal frame for the top tier.. I used the house .. took the roses from the bottom of thechart and moved them up and added a chicken to each rose from the April Truckin' Along chart .. the pedestal frame was from Michael's a year or two ago 

Valentine Rae Dunn mugs.. 

Heart wood bead garland and buffalo plaid hearts are from Hobby Lobby ..

little houses on the top tier are from Walmart .. wish I would have bought more than these 3 .. they are 

C-u-t-e!!! Little battery operated fairy lights are strung through all three tiers .. It is so fun and festive .. I am glad I switched the tray to Valentines!
