Yard Sauce ..Beach ..What's In MY Cup !

 Good morning!
Look what's in my Cups!
For all of our Beachy friends there is Beach .. for all our gardening friends there is Yard sauce! These are available in our Etsy shop here 

 Beach includes the cutest sand castle .. beach ball ..bucket and shovel and star fish with an anchor thrown out the side of the cup!

Yard sauce ( stitched by Chelsea) is a cup full of veggies.. Corn .. green pepper.. eggplant ..cherry tomatoes cascading down the side ..tomato and basil! Of course there is a bee buzzing around!

 To finish them ..I mounted the stitching on sticky board .. For yard sauce I used 2 more sticky boards covered with fabric for the backing and then added a bow of 2 different ribbons with some little yellow flowers and a covered button .. I used magnets and washers on this piece so we can use it again for other designs .. Beach I used one more sticky board covered with fabric .. and then added a twine bow to this little beach chair .

Calvin and Clyde

 Good morning!
This is Calvin and Clyde our last in the new releases for July! Clyde is the cutest scarecrow with his buffalo check shirt and of course Calvin ( the meanest cat in america ) sitting in the pumpkin patch.
 This design was a chalkboard in my kitchen last fall!

 Calvin is taking requests for autographs ..he is so proud!

 I stitched it on 28 count Monaco that I Rit dyed with charcoal grey then coffee/ tea dyed ..all floss is Classic Colorworks .. The truck is from Hobby Lobby in the fall section . I mounted the stitching on sticky board .. and added a sticky board with black  buffalo check fabric and a second sticky board with orange ticking stripes .. All 3 pieces were glued together and then glued to the bottom of the truck.. I added a burlap bow to the raffia bow that came on the truck with a sunflower on top .. another easy finish!

Now I have to get this stitched up for myself since Chelsea stitched this one!

Sip of the Seasons... Clovis and Stanley ..

 Good Monday morning friends!
Calvin thinks he's having crow for breakfast! :)
This is Clovis and Stanley .. the next chart in our Sip of The Seasons series!

 Clovis in his field of Indian Corn and sunflowers with Stanley  scarecrow in his cup! It's Fall Y'All !
Clovis and Stanley start shipping to shops July 6th..  so make sure if you love them to  ask your shop for him! Lots of shops are doing preorders also!

They are stitched with all Classic Colorworks floss including the new Little Sprout  color ..The fabic is 28 count Monaco that was Rit dyed with charcoal grey and then coffee  tea dyed..  

 The pumpkin that I finished them on is from Hobby Lobby .. I mounted the stitching on sticky board and then mounted black buffalo check on sticky board .. glued the 2 pieces together and glued them to the pumpkin . The pumpkin came with the raffia bow  and I added a black and ornage check bow to the top with some fall leaves .. super easy finish!

September Truckin' Along!

Good morning friends! 

This is the September Truckin' Along..in  our year of Vintage Trucks ! 

Calvin loves Fall because he knows Halloween is coming!

September for us is all about pumpkin picking .. so the truck is loaded with pumpkins under the fall leaves .. The chickens are even helping to pick pumpkins! 

 A cute scarecrow is standing guard over the pumpkin patch.. The topper has lots of fall leaves and pumpkins! There are 2 new Classic Colorworks threads included in the design .. Sweet Potato and Little Sprout!

 to finish the design .. I used the same frame from Hobby Lobby .. I mounted the stitching on sticky board and also mounted plaid fall colored homespun on sticky board . glued both pieces together and used washers on the back to attach to the magnets already glued on the frame ..

This ships to shops July 6th .. so you have plenty of time to get it stitched for September !

What's In My Cup .. Hello Summer!

Good morning! 

What's In My Cup .. Hello Summer is available here in our Etsy shop today! 

A cup full of watermelon .. strawberries and sunflowers with buffalo plaid centers!! 

 To finish Hello Summer I mounted the stitching on sticky board with a layer of batting .. I mounted black gingham on sticky board and then the red and white fabric on a sticky board that was wider so I could add details over the fabric .  I added black check ribbon to each side and then Lori Holt vintage trim on top of the ribbon ..The tool box is from Lela Mae Designs on Facebook ..

 I made a bow for the handle that I used a pipe cleaner to attach with a sunflower on top and a covered button . I used washers and magnets to attach the stitching to the box so it can be used for other designs .. I added greenery to the inside of the box and a few strawberries ..

The hutch in the family room is all decorated for our patriotic season!
