The kitchen is finished!
(Except a new kitchen faucet :)
Sorry for the snow.. this was from Christmas! I cannot wait to decorate this "new" kitchen for Christmas this Year!
This is what I started with .. dark cherry cabinets and dated pendant lights .. I hired a painter to paint the cabinets .. Renew Cabinets and Interiors if you are local
Yesterday he put the final paint on the mantle vent hood and I was so excited to get it decorated!
you can see the difference paint made in bringing out all the details in the cabinets ..I did not want the microwave over the stove anymore so that was taken out ..A local woodworker (Tim) made the hood .. and also added new trim to the tops of the windows and doors.

Everything is something gorgeous and cheerful! I also liked the old kitchen, but the re-do is outstanding. One question, where is the microwave now? I don't see it anywhere.

It's so beautiful! The light cabinetry really makes the space so cheery and inviting along with, of course, all your pretty needlework. I can just imagine how each new season will shine with such a pretty backdrop. I know it was a long time from start to finish, but what a gorgeous end result, and just in time for the wedding guests.
