Buffalo Plaid Spring .. Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine

Happy Saturday!

I am so excited to share our latest piece for the Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine

"Buffalo Plaid Spring" I love this so much and hope you do too!

The finishing piece is from Hobby Lobby .. Fabrics are Priscilla's Pretty Plaids and Chelsea's Checks .. it was stitched on 28 count black evenweave with all Classic Colorworks... I used magnets and washers to attach the piece to the frame so I can change it out with the rest of the seasons! I also used a magnet on the wood bunny at the top ..I untied the wood beads on the frame and moved them up to the top and hot glued the rope they are strung on to the top .

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Congratulations on your latest magazine article!! It is a lovely piece and I am absolutely looking forward to spring!! 3-5 inches of snow in North Alabama is weird. I'm originally from just south of the Syracuse, NY area so it's not much snow, but I live in Alabama for a reason. This neighborhood kids loved it so it's a win. Parent's got them out of bed at 11 p.m. to make snowmen before the precipitation changed from heavy wet snow to ice pellets. Stay warm, I suspect winter isn't through with the northeast just yet.

I just snagged the finishing frame from HL online and couldn’t be happier! I’m dense so when you wrote “the rest of the seasons” I let out a woohoo! Love your work. Starting Soring today since my magazine arrived a few days ago in the mail.
