Good morning!
Here it is ...the Christmas Village for 2019 !
This is my husbands job at Christmas time to get the village set up ..
We have 50 buildings and an ice rink this year .. For risers he uses boards .. plastic crates .. wood blocks ..and sometimes even boxesthis gas station is new ( but not "new") because I found it at the Goodwill ..
Lots of the buildings have been thrift store finds .. even the ice rink was found at the Goodwill
The village wraps around 2 trees in the living room ..the red truck tree and the Santa tree.. The trees are set up on the bins that the Christmas decorations came out of ..
The truck with the Ronnie in the back ..
Santa and his reindeer
Mickey's water tower stands over the ice rink .. it's not Christmas until the skaters are skating :)
There are buildings from Department 56 ..Joann Fabrics and St. Nicholas Square ( Kohls)
always in close range .. He is a village cat :)
the grand kids all love the village .. especially the skaters ...
Thanks so much for stopping by!Christmas Home tour ..

Thank you so much Priscilla for your Christmas home tour, truly magnificent! I do so enjoy reading your blog and watching the videos, you bring such joy to the crafting community. Although I don't do cross stitch, I am a quilter, and loved watching you and Chelsea dabble in this craft too.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you all

That Village is just amazing. Great that your DH is willing to put it all together. I had a small Halloween village so I know how much work he did to get it all together. It looks just wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteI have only recently started collecting Lemax village pieces and only have two so I am a long way from having something as magnificent as your beautiful display.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome job.
