Happy Tuesday friends!
Woohoo! Liberty Lane is finished!
I put the last stitches in this last night and finished it up a little while ago .. I love it so much!Chelsea and I started this as a stitch a long Memorial Day of 2017.. I only stitched on it that day until this year when I decided it needed to be finished!
This is Chelsea's Liberty Lane .. I finished hers with blue ticking and mounted it on barn wood..
The floss colors I used were all Classic Colorworks and 2 dmc.. white and 3782( blue house roof with muddy puddle)
Licorice Red ( houses, doors, bunting, checkerboard on bottom).. blue corn( words, houses, bunting) .. muddy puddle ( roofs) Eve's Leaves and steamed broccoli ( all greenery and leaves) hickory sticks( tree trunks ..old money ( flower pots and windows of white house and middle of red house windows) Finley Gold( stars between bunting, center of flowers, stars next to words)
I stitched it on 28 count tea/coffee dyed Monaco ..
I mounted it on sticky board and then ripped strips of patriotic colored plaid homespun and strips of blue ticking.. I ruffled and hot glued them on..
I used Lady Dot Creates rick rac in vanilla for the bunting .. and cut stars from homespun that i used interfacing on for stiffness.. a couple ribbon flowers and covered buttons..and it's all on a piece of barnwood ..Love IT!

That is just totally adorable!! Love your conversion. I stuck with the "called for" threads and I'm too far into it to start over. But, your finishing idea has definitely inspired me. Thank you so much for always sharing your beautiful work!
