Last year I pinned this Welcome sign on Pinterest ..I went to Michaels last year to buy the letters but it was just too expensive to make. I read the blog post this year and she said she got the letters at Hobby Lobby .. So I went to Hobby Lobby and on sale the letters were only $13.00 to make the sign:)
I used spray paint ..my daughter actually painted them for me .. I used Rustoleum Metalic paint and primer in flat Soft Iron color .They look almost wrough iron like. It worked great and I used one of our old craft show display shelves to hot glue them on . I love the way it turned out !
We picked 108 pumpkins yesterday plus 4 garbage bags of gourds and have them displayed all around our flower beds..None of my favorite pink pumpkins were found by us yesterday ! Lots of blue and white ones ..
My $3.00 estate sale rusty wheelbarrow is holding mums and pumpkins and gourds..
My husband had a new post built for the front porch .. Before it was just a plain little post ..Now it is massive ..We need to find some skinny long house numbers for the front of it .
I still have my sunflower wreath on the door and I am leaving it until the Halloween wreath goes up..
I got those 2 galvanized buckets at the Goodwill last week $2.oo each ..The top one is sitting in a picnic hamper from the flea market. The scarecrows were made by me ..they were from my craft show days and were such big sellers !
Thanks so much for stopping by ! I would love for you to follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest ..all the links are in the sidebar !

LOVE!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! WOW!! WOW!!! You have *really* OUTDONE yourself, what a festive display for Fall. I absolutely love the welcome sign you made, I may have to copy this idea. As for the pumpkins, I love-love-love the arrangement around your flower beds, seriously, this is a fabulous idea!
ReplyDeleteThe whole thing works, and works well...magazine worthy my friend! :) xo, Liz
WOW, I so envy you. Your porch and yard looks beautiful. I need you to come over and do mine. HA! HA!
ReplyDeleteWOW is right, I love the way you decorated the inside and outside of your house! You are all ready for fall. Thanks for the tour. Enjoy your Sunday.
ReplyDeleteJulie
Just as your pumpkin picking day is a favorite for you, this post, is a favorite for me! Last year I didn't have to buy pumpkins, because I grew so many. This year, I got ONE!!! It is still hot here, so I put fake mums out until it cools some more. I will begin to decorate my porch this week. I finally made some sweater pumpkins last night. I will be making more today. They were fun!
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love your porch, and your rusty wheelbarrow of gourds! And I would love to have bought one of your darling scarecrows too!
xo Kris
The house looks awesome. Fall at its best. Great job.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! I wish I was able to shop at your old craft fairs!
ReplyDeleteWOW, I love all the pumpkins lining the flower beds. The cheapest pumpkin I can find here is $4.98 at Walmart. I would have to get a loan from the bank to buy that many pumpkins LOL. Love your sign also you did a wonderful job on it.
ReplyDeleteThe porch is great also.
Have a great week.
Mary
Your home, porch and pumpkins lining your flower bed and post that your hubby made are magnificent. Also love your WELCOME sign and your Mr. Scarecrow. Everything says Fall at Priscillas house.
ReplyDeleteI feel like Mary though.. Would sure have to win the lottery to have that many pumpkins at my house..
Enjoy the coming months. I feel they are the best time of the year.

Priscilla,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by and leaving such a nice comment about my Porch! I really enjoyed decorating it this year because I missed this Season last year because of our Remodel...
LOVE your porch!! So many pretty things! Love the wicker suitcase!! I have one just like it that I may use in the house now .....
And each year, I love seeing your flower beds trimmed with all the pumpkins!! What a statement that makes!!
I will be by to visit later, maybe at work. Sometimes, I can't comment on certain blogs from work but I will be back to check out your other posts. I am working in the LR now and doing a Fall tree.....
Hugs,
Deb
Just fabulous! Your yard is just the type I love to find and then take photos!! Thanks for sharing all your wonderful ideas!

ReplyDeleteOMG, this is incredible, simply gorgeous, looks like pumpkins are growing from every corner of your property, I just love it!!!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks magazine worth, like the Autumn images we see in magazines at this time of year in the USA.
Have a great week my friend.

Wow! Wow! It looks so amazing..seeing it on instagram is so not the same as seeing it this way. Its just gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI just love your outdoor decor! I can't believe how many pumpkins you picked!! The porch looks really great too!
ReplyDeleteYour landscaping is gorgeous! And all those pumpkins make quite a statement!
ReplyDeleteAside from an actual pumpkin patch, I have never seen so many pumpkins in one place at once!!! What a fabulous display! I'm really impressed at your tenacity in finding and picking all those pumpkins and gourds. Your backs must be sore, sore, sore!!!
ReplyDeleteI really like the wheelbarrow display. That gives me inspiration to wheedle the old wheelbarrow from my husband's grasp and make something fun for the side yard. (He doesn't even do yard work! Why does he need a wheelbarrow, a riding lawn mower with all the attachments, a push mower, a weed whacker, etc., etc., etc.??!??!!)
Visiting from Shirley's Housepitality Design. Enjoy the fall!
Your porch is so warm and welcoming! I love it-especially all the pumpkins and your welcome sign!
ReplyDeleteYour porch is beautiful and all those pumpkins - wow - how very cool!
ReplyDeleteYour porch and yard look great!
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Helen
I almost could not believe my eyes! HOLY MOLY PUMPKIN pickin girl you! Your porch and home look simply adorable. If I was a drive by person I would have to stop and tell you..hopefully you would be out there so I wouldn't have to knock and look like a fool lol. LOVE it all.
ReplyDeleteSuch an incredible sight!! Just love this post :)
ReplyDeleteI am always amazed at your 'pumpkin land'! I bet you are the talk of the neighborhood. The welcome sign is perfect because your home definitely says, 'welcome'! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Awesome and lovely. If you don't mind sharing, how much does it cost to fill a car? Around here (suburban Milwaukee, WI, USA) one pumpkin can cost $3-$8 each.

Wow , you've created your own pumpkin patch for sure! I would love to have been turned loose in a pumpkin patch to pick my own. As far as I'm concerned one can never have too many pumpkins. Your whole creation is terrific.
ReplyDeleteHappy to feature you at our party this morning! Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI made your crocheted pumpkins and they turned out so cute! The pumpkin is on my post with Pumpkin Spice Blondie Bars.
