Fall In The Foyer 2014

Today I am sharing our foyer dressed up for Fall .. This chest and mirror are the only furniture in the foyer.
I used a vintage scale topped with a vintage silver bowl with a sweater pumpkin in it..I made the book page pumpkin last year .. you can find the directions here..
One of my favorite Fall cross stitch pieces is on display ..
Love the pedestal bowl with some fall berries with a pumpkin inside ..
I draped the stairs with burlap , fall leaf garlands and berries. Three big burlap bows top it off. I will be adding mini  white lights soon and then of course Halloween decorations to the railing.

Burlap sunnflowers are added to the burlap bow on the coffee filter wreath..
This wrought iron tiered planter holds faux sunflowers ..after this Saturday it will be holding pumpkins and gourds..A chalkboard made from a thrift store frame sits in the top basket.
I found this hamper like basket at the Goodwill and placed it next to the chest with a rooster and fall floral pick..
I have been stitching away on Plum Street Samplers Cinnamon Stars .. Hope to get it finished and displayed soon !
Sunset last night ..
Zinnias still going strong in the garden ! Some of my plants are 6 feet tall !
Another shot from the garden..

There aren't many Halloween decorations in the shops here yet, but I keep looking out for items to display, so far I have knitted pumpkins and some Autumnal flowers.
You are an inspiration, thank you
