Good Morning ! Of course it is snowing here again ! We got about 5 inches last night and its still snowing !
I finished this With My Needle and Thread October wordplay on Friday ( #fallfridaystitching on Instagram)..I had started it last year and then didn't have time to finish it ..I am stitching all the months , I have July and August finished also, and a good part of September stitched .. I wanted a way to display them all the same way. I used this silver tray , Good will ,$1.99.. chalkboard paint and magnets ..First I mounted the stitching on needlework sticky board, then cut a piece of chipboard a little larger and mounted some Halloween colored homespun ..I hot glued some magnets to the tray and also the back of the chipboard. I added a bow of the same Halloween Homespun fabric .. I can't wait to finish all the months !
I finished Lizzie Kates Dog Lessons .. Thank you again to Catherine for sending it to me !
I am working on February's wordplay from With Thy Needle and Thread .. Hope I get it finished to put on my silver tray before the month is over !
I couldn't resist the last time I was at Walmart .. zinnia seeds ! I am going to buy a few packages everytime I go so I am ready ! ( if the snow ever melts )
I would love for you to follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest ..all the links are in the sidebar !
Have a great day !Thanks so much for stopping by ! I love your visits and nice comments !

I love those Wordplay patterns... they are so cute!! (Have them on my wishlist to buy someday.) I love how you finished the tray to change them up each month... such a great idea! :)
ReplyDeleteThe bright colours in your blanket are so pretty...and very welcoming on yet another snowy day here in South-western, Ontario. A perfect day to sit and stitch/knit.
That's a great way to display finished needlework, so original. Your blanket is very pretty :-)
ReplyDeleteI love all of your cross stitch projects. What a cute way to display them too.
ReplyDeleteThe newest blankie is coming along great! Who will be the lucky recipient?
Stay warm!

Priscilla, I love the way you displayed your WP. After seeing yours, I will definitely do Oct.
ReplyDeleteYou do wonderful work and I love how you inspire me to continue to create and learn from you.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! I love the way you displayed it so that you can change it up every month. Great idea! How do you get so much done? Love the blanket too. I'm getting ready to start a crocheted star blanket. I've been knitting and cross stitching and I feel the need to pick up my hook. Lovely blog!
ReplyDeleteI love how you finished October, such a great idea.
