Christmas kitchen 2012

My favorite part of decorating the kitchen is putting the wreaths in the windows. I love the festiveness it brings to the kitchen !

I have a few little vignettes , including this one with the miniature hallmark tree.

A few vintage ornaments on the tray

I finally got a cloche , its covering a little glittery house . Got them both at homegoods.

I have alot of fitz and floyd pieces scattered in the kitchen and alot of them in the cabinet.

This Santa my husband got me a few years ago.. He is a big Fitz and Floyd piece.

The roosters with their lighted  and evergreen garland.. also a banner spelling out the word Merry. Made this with my Cricut last year.. I NEED to paint this cabinet , someone tell me it will be easy !

The only tree in the kitchen is decorated with red/ white candy canes, and other red/ white ornaments , garlands.

This little cabinet has some snowmen, the printers tray I made using my cricut, I also made the red teddy bear ( he is mohair ) and the long legged Santa..

Love this little ice skate ornament I tied on this basket with berries and evergreen pics.

This is our kitchen table with the subway art runner I made a few weeks ago.Another fitz and floyd piece is on the table.

The light over the table is wrapped with evergreen garland berry pics, red/ white check bows and candy canes.

Over the refridgerator there is more space for a few Fitz and Floyd santas..

This week was a rough one for my family.. My Father-in-law passed away last Saturday. We traveled to Florida for his funeral, and are now back at home. He will be greatly missed !
Thanks for visiting my kitchen today ! Thanks for all your visits and comments ! Have a great weekend !

  6. I am so sorry for your loss. I don't know why it always seems doubly difficult when it happens at this time of year. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Your kitchen is just delightful! You have a "smile waiting to happen" every where you turn. Beautifully done!
