Land of Liberty

Good morning!
This is Land of Liberty from With Thy Needle and Thread . I started this for Stitchmaynia 2019 and finished it this year .

I stitched it on 28 count Monaco that I Rit dyed aqua and then coffee tea dyed .. I used Classic Colorworks in the colors Sticks and Twigs.. Blue Corn .. Ribbon Red..Bamboo .. Perfect Piecrust .. and Roasted Chestnut . 

I changed the dog to look more like my dog Ronnie .. to finish it I used this metal picnic hamper from The Pioneer Woman at Walmart .. It is so cute with its patriotic plaid pattern! I used magnets to attach it to the hamper .. I mounted the stitching on sticky board with a piece of batting underneath  .. and also mounted red check fabric on sticky board . I glued those 2 pieces together and then attached the magnets to the back . I made a bow from red buffalo check ribbon and added daisies a wood star and a small flag which I used the pipe cleaner I made the bow with to attach it to the handles . 

I Love it so much !
