Good morning!
Here is a run down of the quilts we made in 2019 !
First up a quilt as you go string quilt in the Farm Fresh fabric from Moda ..you can read more about this one here
This is another quilt as you go string quilt.. these are absolutely my favorites to make :) this fabric was from Walmart last year ..I started it before Christmas but didn't finish up until this year .. you can read more about this quilt here
then we made Spring quilts .. Chelsea's is the string quilt on the left .. mine is the 4 patch on the right ..you can read more about both of them here
we participated in the Ultimate Beginner Quilt series with Fat Quarter Shop and learned how to put together all these blocks.. our blocks are all sewn together .. we just need to quilt them and add the binding ..
my favorite quilt for this year was the Sweet Christmas quilt as you go string quilt .. you can read more about this one here
Lastly these 2 quilts have the tops sewn together .. I just need all the Christmas quilts :) Kringle and claus Basic Grey charm packs .. and then my first try at a log cabin quilt ,,fabric is To Be Jolly .. hopefully these will get finished up soon because both Chelsea and I have 2 more quilts we each want to make! So this year we only finished 5 quilts .. but hopefully next year we will get some more sewn!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteYou and Chelsea will be amazing at what all you get accomplished this year.
That’s a lot of beautiful quilts for two busy ladies! Looking forward to more quilting updates sprinkled in with your cross stitching ♥️

ReplyDeleteI love the last picture with the smiling grandson and the smiling Ronnie. These quilts are beautiful! I always have to check out the crocheted afghans in the background. Just when I think I've seen them all, there's a new one I haven't seen.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking quilts: you two are doing amazing for being beginner quilters!! You are definitely on your way to being prolific quilters as well as cross stitchers!! Hugs, H
