Good morning!
My Sweet Christmas quilt is finally finished.. and the Golden Retrievers have doubled ..The new boy is Sam and he is a rescue that my son and his girlfriend brought home ..
all the animals know when there is a new quilt .. and have to take their turns breaking it in!Last year I made the Swell Christmas ( on the left ) and this year Sweet Christmas .. I stitched all the blocks in August but finally finished it this weekend ..aren't the colors amazing!
This is the video we watched from The Fat Quarter Shop and we also have the book to learn how to do this quilt as you go method ..
The backing is the aqua and red checks shown here , and I used the cream snowman faces for the binding .. Don't look at the Halloween chalkboard still hanging up :) Hopefully it will be Christmas by the end of the day!
Calvin says .. Don't touch my quilt (•_•) or else!
