***Please remember if you copy my finishing ideas that you be considerate and give a link to my blog or facebook page..****
I stitched it on 28 count coffee tea dyed evenweave .. I used Classic Colorworks floss .. black Coffee, Colonial Copper and Plum Paisley ..I did not use the beads included with the chart .. instead I did Plum Paisley stitches where the beads were supposed to go . To finish it I mounted it on sticky board with 2 layers of batting .. then mounted 2 different fabrics on larger sticky boards .. all three layers were then glued together . I used 2 different ribbons for the bow .. and added a cute Jack O Lantern to the top ..
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Good morning you talented and fabulous woman! Cute small.
ReplyDeleteI have been stitchin up a storm and taking some of your finish techniques and making them my own. I recently watched a utube video and you mentioned a paper cutter that you purchased but would purchase something different if you got another one. Please share what you have and what you would buy. Are they 12 inch or larger.
Blessings today and always.

Such a cute design. I love the little Jack-O-Lantern on top, a perfect finish!
ReplyDeleteI finished “Ghoul Tidings” and I purchased a pumpkin sign at Hobby Lobby. You have inspired me to try a Priscilla-style finish. Just love your finishes!
ReplyDeleteI love it. Thank you soooo much. You are both such an inspiration....
