Good morning and Happy Sunday!
Can you stand this cuteness?
I started this Merry and Bright last year for Stitchmaynia.. and I finished stitching it this year a couple months ago .. I had seen this truck online and could not find it at any of our local Walmart stores ..But when I was in Florida .. there they were! I got 2 one for Chelsea too.. and had my husband break in half the yard stakes they were on (so I could get them in my suitcase :)The Classic Colorworks floss I used ..
***Please remember if you copy my finishing ideas that you be considerate and give a link to my blog or facebook page..****
I mounted the stitching on sticky board and also covered another piece of sticky board with red gingham . I used a wreath had , and added some flocked picks and a jingle bell garland and also the perfect plaid ribbon for accents .. I glued the truck to the wreath .. and glued the stick from the stake to the back to attach the stitching .. To raise the stitching up I used 2 thread spools and it worked perfect ! It is hanging on my vintage window in the family room and it is just too cute!~
Thanks so much for your visit!
