Happy Tuesday!
I finished stitching the Winter ABC'S from Little House Needleworks last night and got it all mounted and displayed on this vintage shutter..I used this for the Autumn ABC'S and will use it for
The remaining 2 seasons...I found the chippy vintage shutter at an antique shop ..( the chicken knob and the white knobs were on it) I used ribbon glued to the back of my project to attach it to the shutter.. There is a magnet on top to attach the bow and picks ..
It is so hard to get good photos of this one.. the white stitching shows up great in person but not in photos.. I think my kitchen is too bright.. Maybe on a cloudy day I can get some better pics and replace these..
I used some plaid ribbon for the bow and added a pick on each side of evergreens ..pine cones.. and red berries.. I took one of the ice skate ornaments off the ice skate tree and hung it from the chicken knob..
The design is adorable and I love the colors!
I stitched it on 28 count light grey Monaco that I Tea /coffee dyed...and used the called for Classic Colorworks threads.. I used red ticking for the back that it is mounted on..
****Please remember if you copy my finishing ideas that you be considerate and give a link to my blog or facebook page..****

I pieced together pieces of sticky board since it doesn't come in a big enough length.. it worked out fine, and you cannot tell where it is pieced together..
