Good morning friends!
It's time for this years Prairie Schooler Santa Tree! This is one of the 4 trees in the living room..
This year they got a new tree .. this flocked 6-1/2 foot tall tree.. The only thing bad about a new flocked tree is the flocking sticks to the stitched ornaments... but it looks so pretty , its just a little "snow" on them !I put this tree and the tree I showed you yesterday on bins because our Christmas village wraps around it ..You can see the bin in the above photo.. I have 4 of the yearly Santa's left to stitch .. I know I need to get on that! :) and many other leaflets of Santa's to stitch! They are all finished with different homespuns and ginghams ... such a treat to pull out these friends!
I also add a few Santa ornaments ...some vintage.. Lots of buffalo check ribbon this year ..
White fur strips like Santa's suit is woven in and out of the tree..A big fabric Santa head is the tree topper with lots of buffalo check ribbons.. Just a warning.. there is a lot of buffalo check this year ! :) Love it!
I love this tree and all the stitched Santa's!
If you would like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)

That is so darling...you are so talented.
ReplyDeleteI love this one so much. I simply must start stitching some of these PS Santas.
ReplyDeleteI love your finishing, especially the little extra on the backing pieces that provides a ‘frame’ for the stitching. You have inspired me to get out all my PS charts with Santas along with the annual Santas.
ReplyDeleteIt’s beautiful! Everything you touch is magical! Would you do a post sometime on how you frame them? Love the Santa pillow, too!
ReplyDeleteSimply the best!! Just look at all of that PS Santa stitchy goodness :) Have you stitched all of the yearly Santas, Priscilla? I think I've only done six or so--I have a long way to go! I look forward to seeing the other trees!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding!! You are so talented! Thanks for all of the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI am simply awestruck at what you do. It's wonderful and amazing that you do this. It's a Christmas wonderland. Florence
ReplyDeleteHi Priscilla! Oh, how I love your Santie tree! You are just amazing with your decorating and stitching. I have just discovered you and Chelsea on Flosstube! Lord, I love it and ya'll do a great job!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia :)
I love this tree-the red and black buffalo check is perfect! I'm just starting to cross stitch ornaments so it may be quite a while before I have enough to do a whole tree!
ReplyDeleteLove the PS Christmas tree! Santa Claus brings out the kid in you:). You are one talented Lady! Kathleen in Az
ReplyDeleteAmazing - I have a Santa cross stitch tree & it is my favorite. When I am old that is the tree I will put up all the time.
ReplyDeleteProbably my most favorite of your trees, but I withhold the right to judge until I see them all!! Just absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteYour Santa’s are amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteGoals for sure! Much love and time have gone into this tree. You must be so proud! It’s really beautiful . TFS judy
ReplyDeleteI really have to make the two PS Santas that I recently finished into ornaments for my kids. Your tree is inspiring me.
ReplyDeleteIt's just beautiful, Priscilla! I stitched a Prairie Schooler Santa for each of my children (5) a long, long time ago...but sadly, I think my daughter and youngest son are the only two that still put them up...Now I'm inspired to stitch some for myself for next year! You are amazing!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a WOW tree for sure! Thanks for all the sharing you do.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! I would not ever want to take it down
ReplyDeleteOnly 4 PS Santa's left to stitch!!! Your tree is amazing! Love, love, love it!! I have yet to stitch a PS Santa but your tree is certainly inspiring me. You must have one huge LR to hold 4 trees! Mary@stitchingfriendsforever
ReplyDeleteThis is so darling! Your Christmas trees are so gorgeously decorated, they look like they are something you would see in magazines! Your talent for designing is absolutely out of this world! Take care - Laura
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! So inspiring.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a stunning tree! It shows such a LOT of work, in the stitching and in the decorating with ribbon and the topper! Very very nicely done! Hugs!
