Good morning!
I knew when I stitched these 3 patriotic pieces from Little House Needleworks that they would be made into a banner for on top of the hutch in the kitchen..
I finished stitching Home of The Brave last night and got up early this morning to finish them up!
The photos are not as pretty as it is in person .. but let me tell you I really love it!
To finish them I ripped strips of homespun gingham and gathered it ..I Used hot glue to attach it to the back of the mounted needlework pieces. I also hot glued a hanger out of the same homespun. I use push pins in the top of the hutch to attach them. I also cut out book page stars and glued them to a piece of twine, and the flag banner came from Michael's. I also made the daisy garland from faux daisies and twine..
These are thread packs that come with the thread so I used all the called for Classic Colorworks threads. They are stitched on 28 count tea/coffee dyed evenweave ..They measure 4 x 5 inches,
