Halloween Front Porch 2015

 Happy Monday!
I finished up the front porch for Halloween this morning and here it is!
I have used this decomesh garland for a few years now and I keep adding to it.. This year I added the orange decomesh and the cute little chalkboards ..

I was asked to try out some chalkboard markers ..
I usually only use real chalk but I really liked these since I don't have to worry about the words getting rubbed off on the porch.I used little wood pieces from Michael's and painted them with chalkboard paint. I glued strips of black gingham to the back so I could tie them on the garland.I think they look super cute :)

Here is the brand I used and they are available on Amazon.com
So Friday and Saturday night it froze here enough to wreck alot of my plants and ruin about 90% of my zinnias ..Insert crying face here ..too soon ..too early..

I am not sure I am loving the wreath ..so if I have time there will be a new one on the door before Halloween!

The Halloween countdown sign I made  2 years ago and I still love it!

  1. So colorful and fun! You will definitely draw the trick or treaters with that adorable porch. What do you do with all of your pumpkins after the holidays? I am a pumpkin addict as well and, here in Washington State, we take ours to the zoo for the hippos :)

So sorry about all your zinnias--we had a bad frost, too... Winter is on its way!
