Good Morning!
( The giveaway is closed )
It is time for a few August stitchy vignettes ..
In the family room , the August cottage from Country Cottage Needleworks, and Lizzie Kate's 4 seasons summer sitting in a thrift store basket..
The cottages are changed out monthly using a magnet on the frame and a small piece of sheet metal on the back of the stitching.
On the sofa table in the family room the August wordplay sits in a big basketwith a few chickens. I moved the August A Year In Chalk from Hands on Design in here and it sits on a thrifted cake plate with a few china saucers and a chicken.
It is framed on a wood and chalkboard piece I bought at Michael's last year .I leaned it up against a white frame to give it more detail..
I was sent another Hands on Design .. A Year In Chalk August chart by mistake from beachcottage stitchers.com ..she told me to keep it and pass it on to another stitcher. This online store is great for any series of patterns because she gives you a discount and ships the series for free so it is one of my favorite places to order !
So leave me a comment and a way to email you, for an extra entry like my Facebook page and tell me in your comment.. ..I will draw a winner on Friday 8/14/15 so you have time to get it and stitch it up this month if you want ..You will be hooked once you start these :)
U.S only please ..
Thanks so much for all your visits and sweet comments !

ReplyDeleteYour display is always so lovely to look at .... I would love to be entered into the drawing. I hope to stitch this whole series someday :)
ReplyDeleteThank you
P.S I also like your FB page :)
Love your finishes and the way you display them. Liking you on fb!
ReplyDeletePriscilla, do you ever sleep? I am amazed at all your stitching. I will check out beach cottage online!! I try to buy most of my supplies from my local shop as I realize if she depended on me for her business I would not have the benefit of shopping at my leisure! But I am always ready to look for series that I can get in one place. Today I am starting on Prarie Schooler's Christmas Tree Farm!!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be entered. I bought the fabric for the year in chalk, but never bought the charts or threads. Do you have a video or detailed pictures on how you switch out your cottages of the month so they can share a frame? That is my plan with the cottages. I've finished 3, but haven't figured out how to finish them off yet. Thanks in advance!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for not using embedded comments! Blogger won't let me comment on them. Or a lot of other people, either. I love your decorating. You have such a nice touch, and seeing your many thrift store finds is inspiring. That is the cutest stitchery, and my DH and I lived full time in our 5th wheel for five years, so I've done that often, and wish I still were. Thanks for the chance to win it! dezertsuz at gmail
ReplyDeleteGorgeous displays all over the house! I love it Priscilla!
ReplyDelete:)

Arlene sent me over from Nanaland. She promised plenty of cross stitch inspiration here and she was right! I am feeling very inspired indeed. Love how you incorporate your stitching into vignettes. I've done that some but you surely have given me some fresh ideas.
ReplyDeleteI would love a chance to win your giveaway. This little design is adorable!
Love this! It would be a perfect gift for my friend.
