Good morning and happy weekend!
I have had my galvanized tiered tray ( from Sam's Club) for almost a year now.. I thought it would be fun to see all the ways it has been decorated ! I do love this tray! I think it gets better every time I decorate it! I do love to decorate for the seasons !
I did use a greenery garland from Hobby Lobby you can see it sticking out above.. I cut it and there is a piece in the bottom 2 tiers that stays in all the time ..
These photos from last spring were the first decorations in it.. I didn't buy anything for it I just decorated with what I have.. So it was pretty much Mason jars ..daisies and nests!
I really loved it for June/July with its red, white and blue theme..Even a little cross stitch design in the bottom center..Painted red, white and blue mason jars used as flag holders..and yes that's a real puppy on my table .. My daughters dog Daisy ..
For August ..lots of sunflowers and chickens took over the tray ..burlap bows and the little chalkboard is in the bottom center.. Chalk painted mason jars sit in the top tier..
In September..darker sunflowers, fall berry picks, sweater pumpkins and crocheted pumpkins were added. Lots of fall leaves too..
At Halloween these cute owl salt and pepper shakers( BHG at Walmart) sat in china bowls and cups.. Love those little acorns :) Purple sparkly floral picks are added for that Halloween color!
The Christmas version is probably my favorite.. but I loooove anything Christmas !
Fitz and Floyd salt and pepper shakers along with some BHG at Walmart cute salt and pepper shakers.. Lots of evergreen branches real and fake, ornaments , snowflakes...The mason jars are filled with evergreen branches and vintage cookie cutters..

Winter brought out my collection of snowmen ..pine cones..little winter houses..
and of course the chalkboard and painted mason jars stayed..
This year for spring I moved the tray to the counter ...I am loving it there ..it seems like I can see more of the goodies in the tray !
I do love the look of it on the subway art table runners though ..so maybe its moving back to the table! There is a new spring subway art table runner coming to the blog next week :)
I do want the tray to be different every time I redo it ..so I am always on the lookout now for small things to use in it.. I want to add some more cross stitch and small chalkboards to it ..so I need to get busy stitching some small pieces :)
Thanks so much for taking this walk down tiered tray memory lane with me !

What a treat to see what you did with the tray this past year. Love, love it! Oh my, what a sweet puppy too! Kathleen in Az
ReplyDeletePopped over from a spoonful...
ReplyDeletelove your tray but I really like
your table runners! I presume you
made them?
M : )
It would be impossible to pick a favorite they are all so pretty.
ReplyDeleteEach one of your posts are inspirations for me! What kind of chalkboard are you using for each season (on the galvanized centerpiece)? It looks thicker that the small standard ones...your daughter's puppy is precious! Thank you! :-)
ReplyDeleteSo much fun to see how you have styled the tiered stand. Quite versatile.
ReplyDeleteWho could pick a favorite! The tray has earned it's keep, that's for sure. You have a real gift for design.
ReplyDeleteI love that galvanized stacked tray and how you decorated it for each season. So much fun! I have to find myself one for my kitchen island!
ReplyDeleteGalvanized trays are the best - I use mine all of the time, but I need to find a tiered one - you've inspired me.
ReplyDeleteHi, I hopped over from Treasure Hunt Thursday. Great use of your tiered tray! I enjoy changing my decor with the seasons too and it's always fun to see how one piece can multitask! Blessings, Cecilia
ReplyDeleteI love all things that are galvanized! I love your stacked trays. Your centerpieces are just wonderful. Thanks for sharing. And because of your inspiration I am going to have to start looking for a galvanized stacked tray to buy.
ReplyDeleteI have a tiered basket as well (mine is the Southern Living Ballard Designs one, so it's different, but same idea), so I feel quite "qualified" to tell you that you have done an incredible job with yours!! I haven't come close to the creativity you've shown in yours! They're all beautiful!! I invite you to stop by and visit when you can! ~Zuni
ReplyDeletePS - I'm your newest follower! Adding you to my sidebar so I don't miss your posts! ~Zuni
ReplyDeleteLike I said, I love, love your tray!! Each season is what filled with such delightful things! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
That tray looks great anyway you do it!Thanks for sharing at Home Sweet Home!

I love that tray, Priscilla! We don't have a Sam's Club membership, but have just received a guest pass temporary membership, so I'm going to look for one of those. They probably don't still carry it, but I can hope!
ReplyDeleteNow, about that puppy -- I wasn't even sure she was real! Daisy is just about the cutest puppy I've ever seen!
What an awesome post, full of creativity in a year's time, Priscilla! I was reading your current post and came back here. That little puppy on the table looked like a stuffed animal - glad you clarified her being real. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
