A Little Spring

Good Morning..
I was getting a little tired of all the winter decorations in the house, so down they all came. It is definitely still winter outside !
I finished the Lizzie Kate 4 seasons spring design .. I am not a purple fan so I changed the purple to off white and yellow.. love it now ! A stack of cover less books tied with twine on top of a pedestal plate is where the new stitchery is..
I added my flea market cement ducks to the top of the aqua cabinet .. They seem like spring to me !

This little aqua phot easel frame came from Michael's and its the perfect size for these designs.
I am still working on my galvanized tiered tray for spring.. and I have moved it to the counter instead of the table. I made the Pioneer Womans double Chocolate white chocolate chip cookies yesterday .. they are amazing !
I finished this Country cottage needleworks ornament for the LHN CCN facebook group. Trying to do one ornament a month!
I took back a purse I got for Christmas and bought myself a new Kitchenaid mixer.. the color is aqua sky..Love it.. My old one was black ..it went to live at my daughters house. The first thing we made with it was the pretzel rolls from Mel's Kitchen Cafe.. They are wonderful !
Soon the yard will look like this again ! I am ready !!
If you would like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)
Thanks so much for all your visits and sweet comments !

  5. You are inspiring me to put winter away and get spring out. After all, Lent started last Wed. That means Easter is only 30 some days away now.

  8. I have started cross stitching again after many years of doing none, thanks to your blog! I am currently working on the Country Cottage Needleworks Monthly Cottages. When I was an avid stitcher many years ago, I had my pieces professionally framed, but love the idea of the photo stands you use with magnets allowing you to change them out. Would you mind explaining in more detail the process you use to prepare or mount the piece for use on these frames? LOVE your stitching and decor!!

  10. How wonderful to see spring has reached the inside of your home, Priscilla!! I am getting tired of my snowmen and winter decor, too, so maybe spring bunnies and flowers will be making an appearance here, too :) Love the little spring stitching on the clipboard and your new mixer is gorgeous--enjoy!
