Christmas In The Foyer 2014

Eight days until Christmas ! Today I am sharing the foyer decorated for Christmas ! You can see the wreaths in the kitchen windows when you walk in the front door..
This little tree with mini ornaments sits by the front door in a bushell basket ..a flannel buffalo check bow is tied on the handle.. There is a snow scene mason jar and a Dept.56 Santa..

The stairs are draped with flocked garland with other green and white greens poked in ..snowflakes.. white lights and big burlap bows..

This is the first year to have a tree here in tthe foyer and I have to say I love it and it will be back ! MERRY AND BRIGHT TREE

My youngest son bought me this light up glittery house at Homegoods for my birthday .. it is sitting on a vintage hamper basket from the thrift store.. love it here in the foyer :)
This is a wrought iron tiered tray I got at an estate sale ..It is filled with a glittery magnolia leave garland ( also from an estate sale ) and a chalkboard on a thrift store frame.. The chain garland always hung on my tree as a child and this is the only piece I have left ..
The DIY coffee filter wreath hangs on the mirror over the cabinet in the foyer..
A vintage scale with a glitter house sits on a stack of old books..
Vintage greenery draped over the mirror .one of my favorite Estate sale finds is this Santa ..He is made from a wool quilt ..Love him ! He is sitting on a thrifted cake pedestal plate..

From this point in the living room you can see four trees.. The owl tree with crocheted owl ornaments on the stairs..the Merry and Bright Tree..The flocked tree and the frasier fir .. If you click on the colored text it will take you to the individual posts about those trees or crafts :)
Thank you all so much for all your visits and wonderful comments !

I loved seeing this tour. It taking photos from one room, into another, really gives you more idea of how your home looks. Lovely!

  11. I am with Sheila I am coming to your house. I could spend hours on one of your photos, and still would not see everything. I finally got most of my decorations up this week really behind this year. Now I am being nurse to Big Jim, as he had shoulder surgery today.
Your house is really a dreamy Christmas House <;)
