I am so excited to show you our Christmas Village for this year ! Last year it wrapped around only the tree on the left ..
This is my husbands contribution to the Christmas decorating ..He builds the structure and gets the houses put out and lit.. I just add the snow ..trees..and people. Hopefully this year I can find a few new houses to add to the village :)
I made the book page tree topper last year ..and my Santa tree holds all y cross stitched Prairie Schooler Santa ornaments..
Ronnie the Jack Russell photo bomber...
Santa and his reindeer are making their rounds..
Most of the houses I found this summer were from Kohls Department store.. I have a mix from Kohls and Joann Fabrics..and a couple Dept. 56 pieces.
If you would like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)

Your husband is so sweet to help. A magical Christmas village, so pretty! Have a nice day, Kathleen in Az
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous as always! I love how you decorate!
ReplyDeleteYour C'mas village is gorgeous! My DD has a pretty village, I've never made one cause I had a huge Nativity Bethlehem, but now I just have the hut, lol!
ReplyDeleteFlanked by the trees is perfect. Love it all!
FABBY
Oh, my Priscilla! Your Christmas village set up is so wonderful! I love it between the two trees. Are those more little houses in your hutch? Oh, I'm sure it a winter wonderland in person!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I really can't find the words to describe how amazing your village looks. Plus the PS Santa tree is incredible! Your DH is a great helper!
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas is beautiful - I just love it. Your husband is so sweet to help you. Love the little sweet face in the pictures. He is so cute.

A M A Z I N G!!! Wow, girl, you have been busy and it shows. Absolutely stunning, a Christmas wonderland! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Thanksgiving! xo, Liz
Wow that is beautiful. It must take a long time to set up.Your christmas decor is beautiful!Jen
ReplyDeleteI too have a lovely Christmas village but nothing as gorgeous as yours. I have been collecting many of my bldgs. for a long time. It does give you a real Christmasy feeling to light it all up doesn't it. Betty fro, Ontario Canada.
ReplyDeleteIt is so pretty. I would be going crazy seeing everything.
ReplyDeleteGreat village! I have a big board I got from hardware store that I used to put on top of my entertainment unit to give me more space for my village. Takes me two or more days to put up. I am thinking, after years of adding to it, that I might scatter the pieces in vignettes around the house this year instead. I am looking for an old buffet/sideboard to use for my flatscreen and won't have use of the furniture top anymore and don't have space for big floor display! Yours is lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteGADawn57
Wowza, that is a lot of work! I am glad you will be able to enjoy it for a long time by getting it up so early! It belongs in a store window in NYC! Fabulous! How many buildings do you have in all? Love your photo bomber!
ReplyDeleteJenna
A lovely village you have! It's a lot of work to get it out I know!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fantastic village--your little dog looks like he wishes he could shrink and roam the streets of the miniature town :)
ReplyDeletePriscilla,
ReplyDeleteYour village always amazes me but this year, you have out done yourself.
Now I hate to ask you this because I know how I feel when I am asked this same question but you have way more stuff than I do for Holiday decorating year round, where do you store it? I know your home is way bigger than my little townhouse so I am thinking you have a large basement? Out attic is floored so the majority of my decorations for all Holidays are up there and the larger items are in a storage shed that we rent....
I am just looking for some better storage tips if you have any!!
LOL!!
I still have yet to decorate the LR tree and was thinking of not doing my village but after seeing yours, I just have to do that village as it has always been tradition.....
Happy Thanksgiving Day to you!!
Hugs,
Deb
Love it!! Love that some are Goodwill finds!!
ReplyDeleteLove Ronnie!! And the village and trees are so beautiful. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteJust amazing!!!! I have never seen anything like your village, even in the stores over here, there is just so much to look at, I live the little glass roofed building, you put so much effort into it, it is beautiful. Your family must love it!!!
ReplyDeleteLove Ronnie, so cute.
And your PS tree is wonderful, I hope to eventually have a PS tree, just a small one, yours is huge!!!! Best get stitching, hadn't I!!!!
Love Linda O xxxx
It's really quite breathtaking Priscilla. Hubby did a great job and all of the added touches made it come alive! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

ReplyDeleteTruly lovely. I can't wait to lay out my village like yours. I don't add snow (some day soon) and I put all my houses on the fireplace mantle. When the littlest is a bit older I hope to display them on a lower table.
