DIY Burlap Spring Wreath

 Good Morning !
I am sharing my so easy spring burlap wreath. I made this burlap wreath last fall .. I have used it mostly for a centerpiece. Now it s hanging on the door to the basement that is in the kitchen ..
I made a bow from some of the white burlap left from making my burlap table runner .I used a pipe cleaner to attach it to the wreath. I want to reuse the wreath so the spring elements are just tucked in.
I used 2 stems of forsythias and bent the ends up. I tucked the wired edge under the burlap bow in some of the burlap wreath loops. Its been hanging on my door for a week and has stayed perfectly.
I bought a nest and added some twigs from the yard and some of the sprigs of forsythia using hot glue.
Then tuck the nest on top and use some of the burlap loops to hold it...you could also use a pipe cleaner to wire it to the wreath if you feel you need more security.
These are the ways I have previously used the burlap wreath..

 for a spring centerpiece

 for a Thanksgiving centerpiece ..
and my Christmas centerpiece. Love all the ways you can use a burlap wreath and they are so simple !
Thanks so much for stopping by ! I would love for you to follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest ..all the links are in the sidebar !

  7. Priscilla, that's why I love this wreath so much, so versatile. My friend and I have to have a couple crafts for 10 gals when we go on a retreat to St. George in April. We are going to make one of these wreaths. Fun and easy project. Love how you decorated it for Spring! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
    hugs,
