I saw this post for sweater pillows ..so off we went to the Good will store .. I got 2 cream colored sweaters and a light brown sweater. The argyle sweater was in the closet ( don't tell my husband) :)
I decided to add some little crocheted roses to one of the pillows , the pattern is attic 24 roses .. I did one tan, brown and aqua.. and made the two leaves. All of it was very easy ! I think they look great on our bed
Aren't the little roses adorable ??
I also got another Prairie Schooler Santa stitched.. this one is the 1988 Santa.
Hope you all have a great week ! Thank you for visiting and all your nice comments !!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!! They came out great!! love them!!
Hugs,

Oh how wonderful they look!!! I made a sweater pillow out of an old vintage wool ski sweater, and everyone loves it. Your addition of the flowers is so perfect. Our bedrooms look very similar. I have a large mustard Bloomie on a sage green pillow on our bed, and I love it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Day!!!

Love these! I will be on the hunt! Fortunately, I can just go and look in my daughter's drawers...she seems to wear them once and then either she outgrows them quickly, or purposely throws them in the dryer...(hint, hint Mom, I don't like this one!) Bet she will after this:)
ReplyDeletePriscilla! I just love the pillows, especially the one with the rosettes.
ReplyDeleteWow! So pretty, I think that I need to find some sweaters now!
