I have been getting a little crafty this week ! I wanted the word JOY to hang on the curio cabinet in the living room, so I cut the letters out with my Cricut, Each letter 3 times, hot glued them together , for stability and glittered them with silver glitter. I then glued a gold organza ribbon to the back of each one and they are push pinned into the top of the cabinet. I love how it looks !
My daughter helped me make another coffee filter wreath , she folded , I glued. I hung it on the china cabinet in the dining room. I added a silver reindeer and gold organza ribbons
Yesterday I went to the Good will looking for a big silver tray , This was the only one they had .. it has a little pedestal. I put one of my Fitz and Floys cookie jars.. dept. 56 Santa , greens from the bushes outside and dollar tree glittery ornaments. It looks so much better than just the cookie jar sitting there..
Had to make a reindeer hat for the littlest grandson. Hard to take a good picture because he can MOVE now :) I made a pom pom for the nose and buttone for the eyes.. Could he be any cuter ?
I've crocheted 8 of these circle scarves.. My daughter has already taken 3 of them :) The rest are for gifts. Here is the pattern I used. crochet round scarf instructions
I just could not believe the shootings in Connecticut yesterday. We have relatives in Danbury and we have been to the town that happened in.. It is such a horrible and sad tradgedy ! My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected..
Thanks as always for visiitng and your nice comments !
