  4. Saw you at Debbiedoo's, this is beautiful!! I am a bit envious of those who knit and crochet... I know I could learn, but frankly, I don't need another craft vice. :P But the results are so lovely, GREAT JOB!

  5. Good for you for finishing such a large project! As a fewllow crocheter, I know how tough that is sometimes. I have a drawer full of large projects in partial states of completion to prove it, which is why I generally only do small things.

Your son and DIL with love the pretty blanket, and it's obvious their dog is already a fan of your work!

  6. What a beautiful afghan! Love the colors you used! My husband's grammy made an afghan for each child, each daughter-in-law, each grandchild upon graduating high school, and each granddaughter-in-law as a wedding gift. Her hands have a tougher time with it now, but she's started working on graduation gifts for the great grands. I'm sure that beautiful blanket will be cherished. I certainly adore mine and display it proudly. Thanks for sharing.

I'm hosting my monthly Before Blogging Throwback Thursdays party, and would love for you to link up anything you made/did/bought Before Blogging. Can't wait to see what you bring to the party.

  15. Awesome afghan! I am hoping to start one of these soon. Could you tell us which brand and weight of yarn you used? I am having troubles choosing good quality yarn that feels nice and works up nicely. The last yarn I bought looks like string when it's crocheted, so I quit it. Also did you use pure white or antique white?
    Thank you so much!
