Happy Friday !
I finished my first ornament for 2015..I have stitched a lot but this is the first that is ready to hang on a tree! This is from the August issue of Just Cross Stitch and is from Hands On Design..
You know me and anything chalkboard! :) I mounted it on sticky needlework board , then mounted some black gingham ( on the bias ) love the way it looks that way .. on a separate sticky board ..glued the two together with a red check ribbon loop for hanging in between the pieces. Added a red check bow , and covered a button with black gingham and glued that on top of the bow. Do you love it ?!?
Here is my progress on Santa's Flight stocking.. it is getting there ..at this point I just want to get it done! There is still a long way to go !If you read my blog regularly you know I love Christmas ...so I thought I would add a few of my favorite house pics from last Christmas ..
The dining room..
The kitchen ..
the family room ..with hopefully a new stocking to replace the one second from the right this year :)
Have a wonderful weekend!
Thanks so much for all your visits and sweet comments !
