This is Chelsea's stitching and my finishing on this Heart In Hand Summer Whirlygig .. This is a small piece but it has big effect now that it is finished !

I mounted it and 2 layers of batting to sticky board .. I used a tea cup to trace on the sticky board to get a circle shape ..
I then added daisy trim around the circle .. red check fabric torn and ruffled .. then another sticky board that I glued 2 pieces of ribbon to before I mounted it to the back of the stitched piece to use to tie onto the handles ... on the back of that came another torn and ruffled piece of black check fabric ..
I tied it to the handles with the ribbon onto this olive bucket .. It is adorable and I can't wait to stitch and finish mine!

Since we were having a snow day on Sunday I decided to finish the last of my White Christmas ornaments from Hands on Design ..I had been stitching these after Christmas on #santasundayxs and #merrymondayxs.. If you are not already stitching with our hash tags come join us!
I finished them the same way as the first set ,, mounting on sticky board .. and adding red buffalo check mounted to sticky board for the background .. Bells, flocked greenery and little pip berry garlands

I added red floss to all these designs.. I used Classic Colorworks Licorice Red and Tennessee Red Clay ..
Well it is time to get ready to go get my floss for the latest Farmhouse chalk design .. I started stitching it last night and OMG it is so amazing! I can't wait for you all to see it!

This is Summer Night House on a Hill from Hands on Design.. It is the cutest little house .. I started and finished this in one day so it is a quick one!
I did a few things different ... first of all I am not a pin cushion type of stitcher .. so I just stitched the top portion and not the sides of the piece.. Also I left off the piece of wool felt and just stitched the grass .. I also changed the weather vane on top from a whale to a chicken :) I mounted it on sticky board and then added a torn gathered piece of red check homespun .. a blue and red plaid bow with a daisy on top .. and then I glued the 4 corners to this small probably 6 inch wreath .. The little chicken pin on top of the bow is from Just Another Button Company
I used all Classic Colorworks ..Pea pod Grass and stems .. Dublin Bay House ..Licorice red door and stitches around bottom daisies ..Queen Bee flower centers..Black Coffee most of roof..Muddy Puddle designs on roof and chicken .. Dmc 3865 flowers and house trim ..I stitched it on 28 count tea/coffee dyed light grey evenweave ..
we had 7 inches of snow yesterday in Northern Illinois .. It will be in the 50's today so hopefully things will get back to normal!

I finished it on an enamel sign .. I mounted it on sticky board .. added a knotted torn strip of black gingham check .. a Halloween orange and black buffalo check torn fabric ruffle and a black with orange polka dots torn fabric ruffle
I added a bow with 2 kinds of ribbon and a covered button ... I added magnets on the back so the enamel piece can be reused .. and a pipe cleaner attaches the bow ..

I changed some of the colors of floss and here is what I used.. Cocoa Bean for the bunny .. Eve's Leaves greenery .. Milady's Teal , Ladybug and Pumpkin Harvest and Eggshell .. all Classic Colorworks
I mounted it on sticky board with 2 layers of batting underneath ..
I found this rusty little loaf pan at a flea market and it fit perfectly .. I added magnets to the sides so I can use the pan for other designs ..I added Ladydot creates Ric Rac and a torn and ruffled homespun around the edge .. For the top I used a tan buffalo check ribbon ... green check ribbon .. some daisy trim and blue flower picks with a small moss bunny on top .. It's bright and cute and Springy!
It's in the foyer on top of a vintage stool .. and it fits perfectly there!
The cute trim on top of the pan just make it the best!
