My First Punch Needle!

 Happy Saturday!
Isn't this cow just the cutest!!!
This was my first time trying punch needle and I loved it ! I mounted it on sticky board and then onto a black gingham fabric covered sticky board .. It then got glued to a piece of barn wood.. I added a twine bow , a black gingham bow and a fall pick to the top..
I used a combination of DMC and Classic colorworks for the floss. I used a Morgan lapstand hoop in 10 and 7 inches ..and the Cameo Ultrapunch needle with the medium size needle . I love it and already have another project ready to start!

***Please remember if you copy my finishing ideas that you be considerate and give a link to my blog or facebook page..****
This weeks Floss tube video..

If you would  like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)

Love it. No time to get into punch needle. I do love it though.
I waste a lot of time just thinking about what I want to do.
I know, I need counseling! Lol

It turned out gorgeous! The stitching and the finishing... very beautiful!
I've being hand embroidering for many years which I enjoyed immensely, but I think I want to shake things up a bit and give punch needle and cross stitch another try. Thanks for all the inspiration!

Definitely love this finish! I'll most likely try the kit I bought last year.

Ok, I just ordered my first punch needle and the stand from Amazon. What is the best needle - and where do I find it???

You did a wonderful time for a first timer or even an experienced stitcher. I like the look but have never tried punch needle.

Hi, I decided after seeing how cute yours was to jump in and try this as well.. :) Can you please tell us which DMC you used? I don't think I want to use all CC threads, that would be expensive for me.. Thank you, I really enjoy your blog and Videos with Chelsea.. :) and of course Ronnie and Cash.
