Chickens on a Trivet

 Good morning!
We have a rainy day here .. but we really needed it!  This is Coop from Bent Creek part of the Spring snapper series .. Chelsea stitched it and I finished it on a trivet I found at the Good Will for $1.99.. I broke out the ceramic piece and glued a homespun covered sticky board to the base .. I mounted the stitching on sticky board and added some Lady dot creates ric rac around the edges .. It is adorable!
I am working on Blessed Bee from With Thy Needle and Thread
and also the Queen Bee Flower Farm sign from Chalk on the farm my collaboration with Hands On Design .. I have already stitched this but have an idea in my head for finishing that I really want displayed ..

And there you have it .. the cutest tiny chickens on an awesome chicken trivet ..

This weeks You Tube video..

You really do the most amazing things with cross stitch! I love the trivet idea. It looks like your garden is doing beautifully.

Okay, so now I know what to do with my mom's olive green and orange trivets when I eventually inherit them. She doesn't use them, but she won't part with them either.

Oh, I love the idea of using trivets in finishing, Priscilla! I'm so sorry now that I got rid of mine from years ago. Time to hit up Goodwill, I guess :) That will be perfect in the baby's room!

I thought I left a comment but I don’t see it. I love your videos and look forward to them . I was wondering on this weeks video your beautiful sunflower wreath did you use the called for colors or did you change them and what color was the fabric? Thank you
