Winter Wonderland

Happy Sunday!
I finished stitching Winter Wonderland from Little House Needleworks a few days ago ..
This was one of our stitchalongs from our You Tube videos.. #pcwinterwonderland
I changed up a few of the colors and also left off the words.. and moved up the border..It is stitched on 28 count light blue coffee/ tea dyed Monaco
I also put the houses in the right order from yesterdays Snow Place Like Home banner.. couldn't believe I had them in the wrong order :)

These pieces look so cute together with their red gingham and blue colors..

I mounted it on sticky board .. added another sticky board covered in red gingham to the back ... Not sure where this wood planked board came from but it was the perfect fit for the piece..
I used the same garland that I used on the Snow Place like Home Banner.. I then added some greenery to the top that had blue berries .. Thanks for stopping by!

****Please remember if you copy my finishing ideas that you be considerate and give a link to my blog or facebook page..****
If you would  like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)

Your creativity sparks my own creativity. I've been changing patterns around and leaving out the parts, like alphabets or words, that I don't want to include. My husband and I just cleaned the basement, and I kept various items (shutters, old washboards, small mirrors, and picture frames) to use for mounting or staging my work. Such fun! My usual thanks...

Love seeing your projects! Thanks to your video, I am now dyeing my Aida cloth for stitching. Got a question about your light blue fabric. How long do you soak before baking? I tried it and halved the soaking time and you can't see any of the blue now. Thanks for any tips!
