At The Tree Lot..

 Good morning!
I finished stitching Little House Needleworks Tree Lot ( part of the Hometown Holidays) and part of our stitchalong on Instagram #pchometownholidays .. Come join us on Instagram and stitch this series!

I used all the called for floss and stitched it on 28 count tea/coffee dyed evenweave...
I mounted it on sticky board with a layer of batting .. I used this metal tray( $2.00 from a Flea market a couple months ago).. I had used it for a fall piece I stitched a  couple months ago ..I used magnets and sheet metal to finish the Fall piece( hoping I would find a design to fit the tray) so I did the same for the Tree lot... I am stitching the whole series and I will stitch this one again for the finishing I plan to do with them .. This one was just too cute not to spotlight it!
I added a piece of black gingham ribbon to the bottom and ruffled some black and red plaid homespun that I glued to the back ..I added 3 covered buttons in the same plaid on top of the black ribbon.. I made a bow with greenery , pine cones, red ticking, and black gingham ribbon.. I also added a plaid fabric covered button to the bow..
Last night we went to the signing for The Pioneer Woman's new cookbook .. always enjoy seeing her!
I stuck it in a basket that is lined with red gingham.. Love all the different patterns together!

Such a cute finish--amazing the difference in size from the tiny ornament that I stitched of the Tree Lot :)
