Welcome Home!

Good morning!
Don't you just love red and aqua... and gingham and daisies? :)
This week I was taking down all my Easterish stitched pieces and I was sad to see I don't have very many pieces that are for late spring.. So I went digging through my projects and I took this one out that I had started a couple years ago ..It's Welcome Home from Country Cottage Needleworks. I did change the called for red to Classic Colorworks Ribbon Red.. all the rest is as charted. I did leave out the butterflies.
I finished  stitching it yesterday and finished it up for display this morning. I used black gingham for the back of the frame .The frame is from the Good Will and was $1.99 ..it was gold and I chalk painted it off white.
I used red gingham for the bow and added a few daisies.

It's sitting on top of a vintage scale in the family room..I finally hung up the vintage window my husband had brought home for me.. It was just leaning against the wall.. and I added a cotton branch wreath to it.
Well...that's it for me today ..I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

If you would like to see what I am up to everyday join me on Instagram and my Facebook page ! I do post on both almost everyday ..Links to my Facebook page , Instagram and Pinterest are in the sidebar .. Hope to see you there ! :)

I like how you change up the colors and omitted the butterflies and yes, there is alot of frames at thrift stores. I already put up my patriotic decor, feeling very summery here:(.

Such an adorable finish, Priscilla! Your colors and changes are perfect! Good for you for getting your Eastery things put away--I need to do that today. But, will leave the bunnies out until mid-May when the patriotic finishes move in :)

Enjoy your weekend!

I love this stitch Priscilla. I'm glad you pulled it out and finished it. And your frame, ribbon and daisies look perfect with it. Great finish. We would love it if you came by for a visit at our new stitching blog stitchingfriendsforever2 when you have a few minutes. Enjoy Spring! RJ

Your stitchery and frame, in fact all of your decorations for Spring are so pretty. I really like the old window, too. I have been on the lookout for a smallish multi paned old window to hang by my kitchen sink, which does not have a real window.

My Easter decorations are sitting over on the couch in a big box waiting for me to put them away. Maybe I will get that done tonight.

Happy Spring.

Love your stitched piece and the way you finished it off! Since, I don't have much in the way of spring finishes, some of my Eastery pieces are still hanging on the tree. Enjoy your day!
