Happy July!

 Happy July 1st!

I had stitched up this Prairie Schooler July a couple years ago and had it in a frame with the brownish gold gingham backing..Since I got the pedestal frame that I have been using for the PS samplers since March I knew I had to make this one fit in there too!
So I carefully pulled it apart ..I was going to use the same gingham but I placed the July piece on a scrap of red ticking and it was so much better!
So it is on a piece of red ticking.. sheet metal on the back to hold it to the magnets I glued to the frame.. Love it! It is in the foyer with the July cottage from Country Cottage Needleworks..
Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July weekend !

I love Prairie Schooler patterns! I did the autumn one several years ago. I will have to order the one you have featured here. Stop by Still Woods Farmhouse for a visit whenever you get a chance. Happy 4th of July!

Can you please tell me how you attach the sheet metal to your piece of cross stitch that you attach to the pedestal frame. Also do you place the first magnets to the frame itself. I would love to start framing my own projects. I love all your decorating designs.
Thank you,
Susan Bajdek

Both pieces are simply lovely! And what a pretty 4th of July display you created.
