Summer Stitching

 Good morning !
Summer and all the patriotic decorations are coming out !
I had finished stitching this Lizzie Kate 4 seasons summer a while ago ..and last night mounted it onto needlework board and also added a mounted piece of red gingham to this aqua clip frame I found at Michaels.
I did change the colors on the Lizzie Kate to fit in with the more red ,white and blue theme..and the aqua frame .Don't you love red and aqua together ? I do !!

I started foofing the galvanized tiered tray for summer.. I still need to add more flags and maybe some little banners . I was just anxious to show you this summer stitching !
I will be back soon ( I hope)  to show you that!
I stacked these two Good Will baskets ..stuffed a Mason Jar in the top one .. My daughter and I painted the red, white and blue mason jars a couple years ago. I put them in a wire mason jar basket that was a gift from my sister in law.
When I put the seasons out next year I will be making a fabric mat for all of them ..I love the red gingham on the summer so they will all be getting fixed up !
Here are the rest of the 4 seasons

I did finally get my vegetable garden planted on Thursday ..So late this year ..Hoping we have better summer weather than we have had so far this spring!

Love your summer vignette! Tell me more, please, about the aqua clipboard. You said it was from Michaels but I don't see it online - and I simply must have one now that I've seen yours :) Was it a regular clip board and you added the top and bottom? Or did the whole thing come that way? Thanks for info! Just discovered your blog a few weeks ago and love it!

Looked at Michael's online and see what the clips are - what I'm interested in most is the whole display piece - did you make that? If so are there details anywhere on your blog? Thanks again!

Mary Clark ,I tried to respond directly to you but you are a no-reply comment blogger .. If you read this the whole piece came from Michael's . I bought it last fall in the frame section of the store .

I love the seasonal cross stitch designs and the original way you've chosen to display them on the rustic looking clipboard.

I've recently started a weekly Stitchery Link Party for all things hand embroidered including cross stitch and I'd love to have you come link up. http://www.supermomnocape.com/2015/05/25/vintage-embroidery-monday-stitchery-link-party-7/
