September Stitching

Good morning! Hope you all had nice weekends!
I finished my two stitching pieces for September ..
Country Cottage Needleworks September cottage .. I changed the color of the house to 2 different tans to blend better with my Fall decor.. I had to pick some red zinnias from the garden and add some apples to the vignette.. Its hard to get the photos to show color but they are red not orange !

Above this side table in the family room is a print of kids picking apples so it goes perfect with these September stitcheries :)
With thy Needle and Thread September wordplay..I left out the little orange things on the chart..I backed it with burlap.

These both are attatched with a magnet and a small piece of sheet metal so they can be changed out each month..
I only have left to stitch  November and January wordplays  and October ,November and January cottages! pretty excited about that :) Thanks so much for stopping by !

You have been doing such a good job of keeping up with the cottages and the word play monthly pieces, Priscilla--and your changes are always perfect! Love your two latest one--I wish I had started the September Word Play (guess it's not too late :)

Thank you for the information about how you fix your stitched pieces to affix them to metal.
I'm new at this "stitching thing".
I'm also trying to figure out how to finish my Santas that I've done from Prairie Schooler charts.. I have seen how Marly from Samplers and Santas does hers.. Sooo nice ! I'm looking for an easy but nice solution. ;o)
I want to use them on my Christmas tree this year.. Have finished stitching 15 of them.

The Sept. stitches look wonderful. I love the school on the Sept. Word play. I still have Dec. and Oct. to stitch.

I'm kinda in love with the magnet idea. I don't know how you thought of that but it's great!!! :D

Your stitching work is awesome! I love how you framed them and you've inspired me to do some stitch work myself...I love it!
Your vignettes look lovely, warm and inviting.
