http://www.ravelry.com/projects/angelfee/little-popcorn-daisy-blanket this is  the pattern for the daisy blanket
I am mailing out the little baby girl dress and hat I made ,so I made this tag to go with it.. used my cricut and some tulle, baby pompom trim, and ribbon..I just made a big tag and did the writing on the back..

I finished stitching this prairie schooler ornament, and have worked on this Lizzie Kate abc halloween piece.

This is how my son who is a senior asked his date to the prom, we ( I) used a punch to cut out scalloped oval shapes and hot glued glittery letters.they were put onto a ribbon which we tied around the bears neck . We then put it in a box and it was delivered to the dates front porch..gift wrapped with her name and his nickname spelled out in sparkly letters..

This son who graduated last year, his girlfriend is still in high school , so he is going back for another prom..he hung up the banner we made and also gave her a dozen roses..Prom is next week so it should be exciting around here , with the two of them going again!

Here is a picture of my newest grandson wearing one of the hats I made.. He is 4 weeks old today and just adorable !

Daisy sugar cookies and homemade peanut butter cups

We had company from out of town, sister-in-law and brother -in-law, yesterday. It was also my oldest sons birthday this week,so we had a big dinner. My sister-in-law loves sugar cookies so I made the daisies for her.For the peanut butter cups , I melted chocolate chips, poured a spoonful in each mini muffin cup, that have the mini liners in them, topped that with a small chunk of the peanut butter mixture. Then one more spoon of chocolate on top. They are wonderful !

Peanut Butter Cup inside mixture
1-1/2 cups peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix all these ingredients in your mixer. I then make little discs out of the peanut butter mixture so when you are filling the mini muffin cups its easier. I also put about a tsp. of crisco solid shortening in with the chocolate chips when melting. When they are assembled let them dry..I then store mine in zip loc bags.We had a great dinner..birthday cake and these treats!
