The last of the trees

Here are the last of the trees Instagram style  .. This is the only real tree, Its an 8 ft frasier fir... Its in the living room. It has all the family ornaments we have collected over the years. The tree skirt was made by my stepmother.. its huge which we need because we get really fat trees to hold all the ornaments.

These two helped .. I mean "watched" me decorate :)

My husband set up the village yesterday , I need to run to Joann fabrics today to get either a fuse for one of the cords or a new cord. The back row of houses has some not lit up yet because of the cord situation. The village is alot larger than what is shown in the photo.
Below is the sports tree.. Its one of two tree upstairs. I used red, white, and blue lights. Lots of basketballs and footballs the boys school patches and ornaments I have made with their jersey # and year.I used their football jerseys for the tree skirt.

This tree is in our bedroom. I have a black white and green damask bedding set.. I made the tree skirt last year out of different black and white fabrics. There are black glittery balls white snowflakes and green decomesh and ribbon .I also added some gold garland. I do still have another 4 ft tree, not sure if its going to make it out this year ! Its so nice to feel DONE !
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and a wonderful weekend . My college boy goes back to Kentucky today , it has been so nice to have him home.
Thanks so much for visiting ! I love to hear from you , Thanks so much for your nice comments !
Safe travels to all those who are on their way home !

More beauties, Priscilla!! I'll bet people just love visiting your home over the holidays... The sports tree is such a cute idea, too!

Wasn't it nice having your son home? My three were all home, too, and it was great having them all asleep in their childhood beds again (even though two of them were complaining that the beds were now too small for them!). Enjoy your Sunday!!

You amaze me, my friend!! The trees are all so lovely. Here I sit, at the cabin, full of dread to go back home and put away all of my much loved Fall things, and drag out my Christmas things. Ugh...will you come help me????
I am sad you have to say goodbye to your son today.....hope you had a great visit!!!
hugs,
Kris

Girl! Where do you find the time and energy? Mercy! You're amazing! I laughed aloud at your "helping vs. watching? for the photo of the boys. I understand how THAT story goes! Your many themed trees are adorable - and all so clever! Love that BIG GUY with all your family collections on it! Now pour a cup of tea, sit down and relax for...uhm...five minutes. I'm sure you have plenty still to do with baking, shopping and wrapping! LOL Hugs, Annette

Your decorations are beautiful! My favorite is the Christmas village! They're my favorite! I am a bit jealous though, yours is bigger than mine. Love the Christmas look of your blog, especially polka dots! :)
Would love if you'd join our Countdown to Christmas link party! Hope to see you there! Have a great week! :)
